Yard Sale

Our yard sale was the bomb!! We started at 7 AM and closed up at 2:00 PM.  We put most everything on the tables Friday night and then we just had to carry the tables out Saturday morning. It worked out really well.  After the yard sale we loaded up everything and dropped it all off at the GW. I'm so glad we only had it one day. Being out in the sun all day wore us all out. Having a yard sale is a lot of work, but this one was worth it. Jason, 5/30/09

Today is a better day

* I'm feeling better today. I've had my moments, but so far it's been ok.

* Looking forward to our yard sale this weekend. The stuff laying around my living room is driving me crazy, & it will be good to get my mind off things for a few hours.

* Jason has been sooo good about not having his xbox. Don't get me wrong, I hear about it every day 10 times a day but it could be worse. He's promised not to track it till next week.

* I gotta get my butt in gear and make some graduation pops and cake pops for graduation in 8 days!!

* I wanna go camping soooo bad but all our weekends are busy for like the next 5 weeks. Our first available weekend we're going camping!!

* I think Vinnie is realizing that Nala is not coming home =[

* I'm excited about going to Spokane, but worried about Vinnie being lonely.

* I'm going out to my parents house tonight to sew with my Wmom. We're starting a new table runner. I love love love my fabric, it's so cute.

We found out that Nala is not gonna make it. The kidney flush and the IV have not helped and her kidney's are still failing. We have to go down today and sign papers. Not sure I can do it...

Today 2 years ago Jason & I were married in my dads backyard. I still can't believe it's been 2 years. Some days it feels like forever ago and other days it feels like yesterday. I'm so excited for our future. I feel so lucky to have married my best friend ♥ Happy anniversary babe, love ya ♥ I went through our wedding photo's and picked out ones I've never posted. Enjoy.

Our first baking date

Saturday afternoon Annie (my friend) came over and we made cake pops. We started about 1:00 and didn't finish till about 4:00. Thankgoodness she had brought the cake over, I didn't make one! We mixed everything up and put the mix into the freezer. We would pull a little out at a time and roll into balls (I say we but Annie really did most of them=] It's easier to roll when it's been chilled (but not to chilled or they will crack) Then dip them in your melted chocolate. We got about 56 balls(Ithink). Annie's wedding is in 3 weeks and she is making these for her bridal shower. Her wedding colors are hot pink and black. I love love love her sprinkles. My sister & her friend *M* (you saw her in the prom pictures not to long ago) came down and visited us after the racehorses. They were only here for about an hour cuz they had to get back for the rodeo. While they were here they helped wrap and tie the cake pops, which was a lot of help to us. After they left we went and picked up Annie's man James and went and got some pizza. Jason & I had never had this pizza and it was the bomb, we'll defiantly be going back. After dinner we chilled with Annie & James (and I did not pass out which is awesome for me) for a while till they left for home around 1:00. I love when you have those kind of unexpected nights where you really did nothing but hang out with some BA friends and eat some BA pizza.

We went and visited Nala this morning/afternoon. She looked good and was more aware of us today then yesterday. She has still not ate anything. Her body is accepting the IV fluids which the DR said was good news. She has used the litter box twice (only liquid, but that's how they know her body is accepting the IV). We wont know if her kidneys have improved till tomorrow when they take another blood sample. Even though it's just a cat, she's my baby and this is soooo hard...

I had to take my cat Nala into the emergency vet this morning. I noticed Friday she was not eating and then Friday night she started puking. Saturday she was not eating still and puked twice. We did force water down her a couple times yesterday. When I got up this morning she was still not eating so I called the emergency vet and took her in. The DR has looked at her and they want to do some x-rays. I gave the ok and now we're waiting. I'm freaking out...

My first table runner

I went out to my parents house last night (I was sick on Wednesday) and my Wmom & I finished up our table runners. I love mine and can't wait to start our next project!

On another note, last night Jason's xbox360 got the ring of death! He called and they told him to send it in and they would repair it. He's freaking out, and I'm freaking out because he's gonna be xbox free for 6-8 weeks!! Please keep me in your thoughts, I'm afraid it's gonna be a looooonngggg 6-8 weeks!

* Our 2nd wedding anniversary ♥ is 1 week away today

* Jason & I are gonna go to the casino on Sunday

* My sister Josie called me last night and told me that.......she's gonna move to WW after graduation!! OMG, I'm freaking out with excitement! I can't wait till she's here. She's thinking in August or September she'll be ready to move. She wants to register at the CC for winter quarter. She's gonna live about 35 miles away with her grandparents till she gets a place of her own. It's gonna be awesome!!

Saturday evening Jason & I took a walk. We headed towards 7-11 (I secretly wanted a slurpee the entire time =] After we got slurpee's we headed over to my brothers house. We chilled there for a while then walked back home. It was a really nice walk and the perfect evening for it ♥

Wednesday night I'm going to my parents house so my mom & I can finish up our project. I'm so excited, I can't wait till I'm done. We've already decided on doing another table runner but different style for our next project. I'm really glad because they are great things to begin on and they are so cute.

Lil bit of this & that

*We had lots of fun while Josie was down. Saturday morning we woke up early and went and watched the balloons take off (I'm still working on those pictures). Later that afternoon we went and looked at all the booths and all the old cars. Of course we ate lunch, which was awesome. I love fair food! Saturday night we had dinner with my brothers family. Sunday afternoon Josie headed back home.

*OMG, my sister Josie turns 18 tomorrow!!

*My SIL & I went and watched my brother and dad play hockey last night. My brother started about 3 weeks ago and loves it.

*Tomorrow I'm going out to my dads house so my Wmom and I can start a table runner. I went and picked out my fabric on Sunday and I'm so excited to get started on it!

Bummer

I got a call from Josie yesterday and she might not be able to come down this weekend =[ Her manager at work got fired and a bunch of employees walked out. The new manager told Josie yesterday that she probably wont get this weekend off now. She's suppose to find out today.

A huge thank you

I called my SIL today to see what she was doing tonight, my brother is out of town. She was going to her parents house for dinner. I asked if she could stop by to "check" out my new sewing machine. She came over and saved the day. She threaded my machine (showed me how), showed me how to do the bobbin thing, showed me how to change the foot, and we did a couple of the different styles. She left me with a bunch of fabric and now I'm a sewing fool. I can't wait to start some projects. My Wmom and I (maybe Annie, have not asked but now thinking about it) are gonna have "sew dates" and make stuff. I'm so excited ♥

thankful for the sunny day we had...

Saturday night we went over to Annie & James' house for dinner. I made dessert pizza, which was very yummy. I also made cake pops which was a bonus for everyone. Sunday morning we headed out to my parents house to pick up there furniture. They went to Portland for the weekend and picked up all new living room furniture at IKEA. Score for us!! We're really excited about having new-old furniture!
I'm super excited about this coming weekend. Balloon stampede, my sister visiting, & Mothers day.
