Let it roll

The drivers window on the car has not rolled down for about a year. The motor went out. Jason kept saying he was gonna fix it, and well he never did. While he was xbox free a while ago he decided he was going to fix it. He tore apart the door and figured out what he needed. He then ordered the motor online and got it a couple days later. Well, in that time he got his xbox back and the car window went to the back burner again! He finally replaced the motor this last weekend. It only took him 2-3 hours (now you have to know that Jason is NOT CAR SAVVY) from start to finish. We're both so proud that he did it and that it works. Great job babe.

Fear is temporary, regret is forever

Friday night my lil bro Brock stayed over. I asked him if he wanted to rent a movie, he said no. I asked him if he wanted to go to the park and play, he said no. I asked him if he wanted to run in the sprinklers, he said no. So I asked him what he did want to do and he replied, "play video games with Jason". I guess it's the little things that count =] He was very good (like always) for us, and I think we all had lots of fun. Saturday afternoon we took him to lunch and then took him home.
Brock, 6/27/09****
On Sunday I had lunch plans with Annie & Caitlin. My SIL needed someone to watch Baby G for a couple hours so I picked her up and we went and met the girls for lunch. Lunch was great, and the company was even better. Baby G was the star of the show and really worked her vocal cords (which was totally awesome) for us. I'm thinking she (Baby G) might need to be invited to lunch more often =]
Check out what my most
awesome friend Annie got me...
little bowls and a cookie scoop.
THANKS AGAIN ANNIE.
YOU ROCK!

He's home

Vinnie is home, he has an infection in his liver. He's on antibiotics for a week. We're keeping an eye on him, but really wont know much till the next couple days. DR didn't know what caused it, but has "very high hopes" that he'll be fine. When I dropped him off this morning I left crying because all I could think about was dropping Nala off and never bringing her home again...

I'm freaking out

Vinnie is acting weird this morning and not eating. I'm taking him to the vet right now, keep us in your thoughts...

Happy Birthday Tiffany

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR TIFFANY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
When I was a itty bitty baby my family moved to a town called Dixi3. I went to school with a girl named Tiffany. Her family lived just up the road from mine and I remember going and playing at her house. After Kindergarten her family moved to WW. When I was in the 3rd grade my mom remarried and my step-dad traveled for his job. I then moved to WW to live with my dad. I finished out 3rd grade in Dixi3. When I went into the 4th grade I went to a school called Sharpst3in. I can still remember the day I say Tiffany at school. We were outside and one of us asked (can't remember who) about the other and we realized that we knew each other from Dixi3. We were immediately the best of friends. I can't tell you how many memories I have with Tiffany. We did EVERYTHING together for many many years. As we got older we would walk to each others house and meet half way. As the years went by we drifted apart but were always still friends. We would see each other and it always felt like we picked right up were we left off. She knows a lot about me (the good, the bad, & the ugly) yet she's still been my friend all this time. Tiffany is the one who started my nickname FOREVER ago and still calls me it to this day. Other than family Tiffany is the only person I've know my entire life that I still talk to. I'm very thankful for having her in my life. I wish we saw each other more, but I always know if I need her, she's there for me. Thanks for being a true friend Tiffany. Love ya

We're home, yay!!

We had a wonderful time and it's always sad saying goodbye but it's always oh so wonderful to get home. Also Jason started to get sick Saturday late afternoon and is still sick. Other than that the weekend was awesome. Friday night was graduation. It was cool. Only about 2 hours long. After graduation Cameron, Jason, & I went out to eat and had a few drinks. We had a great time. Any time spent with Cameron is awesome and very treasured. I miss seeing him everyday. Saturday afternoon we had the graduation party. It turned out really good. We had BBQ cheeseburgers and dogs, lots of different salads, cake pops, & a cake. We all ate so much food. After the party my bro, SIL, Josie, & I went to the mall and did a little shopping. Sunday morning mom cooked breakfast, which was killer, and then we loaded a bunch of Josie's shit in the truck and brought it down. I did get to a bunch of my fav stores and got some goodies, so I'm very  happy about our trip. My sister plans on working till August then moving down here and starting school winter quarter. I think it's a great plan, and I know it's gonna be here fast.

On the road again

Tomorrow's my Friday, yay! We're heading to Spokane this weekend for my sister Josie's graduation. I'm so excited! Graduation is Friday evening, then the BBQ is Saturday afternoon, & we'll head home Sunday morning. It will be nice to get out of town, even though I'm worried about Vinnie. It seems so soon to leave him home alone, but I ready don't have a choice. I've begged Jason to let me bring him, and I know I really can't bring him but I kinda want to.... I know he'll be fine, but I'm gonna worry no matter what (that's just how I roll, I can't help it).  Josie wants to go to the casino, in Idaho the age for gambling is 18, so we'll try to go before we leave. It'll be awesome. Have a great weekend.

Have fun at your bridal shower Annie =]

Baking, graduation, xbox, oh my...

Annie (my friend) and I made about 100 cake pops this weekend. We made a batch for her bridal shower and I made a batch for Josie's graduation. We spent about 5-6 hours on Sunday making them, and boy am I glad to be done. Poor Annie still had another batch to make at home. After Annie & James get back from their honeymoon, Annie & I are planning a baking date to make cheesecake pops....YUMMY! I can't wait.

I'm so excited for Josie's graduation on Friday. We're having a BBQ on Saturday for the family and a few friends. I talked to Josie the other day and she's freaking out, in a good way. Crazy to think my sister will be a high school graduate in 4 days. I'm so proud of her!
Jason has been "tracking" his xbox since Thursday last week. He informed me today that it has left the repair center and is being shipped today. He's suppose to have it at the end of this week. If he gets it back Friday, it was only gone like 15 days. That's not bad. You hear all these horror stories about taking weeks and weeks, so we were preparing for the worst. He's super stocked & he's been really good about not complaining to me about it, because he knows what I'll say. It has been nice being xbox free, but I am kinda excited for him because I know how bad he wants it back.
