Just the right kick

I made jalapeno poppers a couple weeks ago and they were killer.
Super easy, fast and good.
12 jalapeno's, cut in half, take out seeds
1 pkg cream cheese, softened
bacon (I had turkey bacon in the freezer)
Fill jalapeno's, wrap bacon around, bake in oven preheated @ 350 about 20-25 mins. Enjoy ♥

Some of our loot

See that thing in the middle that's got the white base and it's tall, that is an herb keeper. You put your fresh herbs inside the clear part fill the bottom with water and store it in your fridge. It's suppose to keep your herbs last longer. I got my SIL one for Christmas and when I saw it I freaked out about it so of course Santa had to bring me one as well. Do you see what my ipod is sitting on, lower left corner? That's the new cooking mama game.......be jealous, it's the shit!

Our first for 2008

Jason & I ate sushi for dinner a couple of weeks ago. I loved the Locati roll, liked the Shawn roll alot and did not like the New York roll at all. I can't wait to go back and try some new rolls. This place has like 20 rolls and they have the best pot stickers ever. We got ours to go, hence the plastic.
Shawn Roll: crab, cucumber, crystal shrimp, avocado

New York Roll: smoked salmon, apple, cream cheese, avocado

Locati: seared tuna, cream cheese, tempura bits, pineapple

This season we rock

Rink Rats VS. The Tigers

11-3

We won. I'm feeling bad for the Tigers, they have not won a single game so far. I'm really hoping they win at least one game this season. My dad missed the game (he's in California). Jason scored a goal. This is his 2nd or 3rd goal of the season. GO BABE!! No hockey for the next two weeks, cuz of Christmas and New Years.

I baked cookies ALL day today. I started about 9:00 this morning and pulled my last tray out at 5:17 pm. Then immediately started cooking dinner, the kitchen & I are taking a break at the moment. The cookies turned out great, and we have plenty of them. Elidah & Christopher are coming over to help decorate tomorrow. I'm glad considering we have about 120 cookies to decorate.

Warning: Not for the faint

I was just looking through pictures and found these. They are from last year when Jason got into a motorcycle accident while riding in the mountains. He hit some gravel and his bike went out from under him. At first everyone thought he had broken his arm because a rock was lodged under his skin and sticking out, which at first looked like bone. Once he got to the hospital they realized it was a rock. They went under his skin and pulled it out. The rock was all the way up to his elbow! These pictures are a couple days after it happened.

Pictures of my babies...

I think she's starting to like them :]

Oh how I love thee Christmas season

We got our tree. It's decorated. My cat has already knocked down 12 ornaments in 24 hours. Fun, fun. We got our tree Saturday morning, and finally got it decorated late Saturday night. I love it. It's worth
beatingdisciplining my cat, at least for the next 17 days, Christmas day that tree will be down! I decorated our entire place and it's really got the Christmas cheer going on.

Elidah and Christopher came over on Sunday. We ate lunch, then Elidah and I headed out to Shopko and K-Mart. Elidah brought over the new Cooking Mama game for the Wii, and I'm now dying to get it. It's much harder than the first one, but way cooler.

I've asked Elidah and Christopher to come over next weekend and help me decorate Christmas cookies. I plan on baking cookies on Saturday then decorating them on Sunday. Every year for Christmas I make goodie baskets and send them to work with Jason and I send out a few each year. I love doing this, but it's always a lot more fun with someone. I'm making sugar cookies W/icing, chocolate chip cookies, ginger snaps, & Fudge. I'll try to take pictures while I'm in the kitchen up to my eye balls with sugar & flour. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and are staying warm in this cold weather ♥

Good news though is Jason scored a goal! Whoo-hoo, great job hun. It was tied at the end and we did a shoot out and out of our 3 peeps who did the shoot out, Jason was the only one to score. The other team came back and scored 2 shots during the shoot out and won the game.
