Down again

Jason dis-located his knee again this last Monday at stick night (hockey). His knee cap was on the side of his knee and wedged sideways, this time was the worse. They gave him some drugs that work really fast (can't remember the name) and tried to get it back in place but the medicine wore off before the DR was able to and it was hurting Jason A LOT. So, they called the orthopedic in and sedated Jason. Once he was out the 2 DR's popped that baby back in. He's doing ok. He's gonna have to have surgery and really build his knee back up but he's gonna be fine. I think he's mose upset about not playing hockey anymore...

It's a lot cooler then I thought it would be

4 months ago I showed you this picture.....

I finished the pink one yesterday.

I LOVE IT

I got the case at IKEA. They come totally unassembled (super cheap). This project was time consuming but TOTALLY worth it. I hope to work on & finish the blue one next weekend...
edit: Elissa asked if I painted these and I have to tell, I did not! Each drawer is scrapbook paper I mod podged-is that even a word?- on. Once the paper was dried on the wood I added coat after coat (once coat was dry) of mod podge. I think there is a total of 4 or 5 coats.
It seems that the hardest part about this project is finding a good spot for it =] I've moved it from room to room, I think it's going to be used in the craft room.

Hangin with Baby Miss.G

Saturday afternoon I picked Gianna up so we could hang out. We went and watched Trey's soccer game, it was super hot outside but we all had a great time. After that we went and got some lunch and hung out at the house. She took about an hour nap, we played and had some yogurt, and played some more. I love the stage she is in (I say that every time =] she's so fun and she's talking more & more everyday. I can't wait to hear what she calls me. My sister Josie, & my brother Louie both called me Mo-Mo (which my Mom and most of my family still call me) and my brother Trey called me Gee-Gee. I don't remember Devin calling me anything funny, I think he always just called me Morgan. I love that Gianna & I are buddies About 5:00 I took Gianna home. She was really good and we all had a great afternoon.

After Josie got off work we all went to the movies and saw
9. It was good, Jason & Josie liked it a lot. I thought it was ok, kinda slow and dark but it's alright. My favorite part was the movie goodies

The big 2-7

Sunday afternoon Jason & I headed out to my dad's house for a birthday lunch. My Wmom made some bomb ass burgers, and then we all enjoyed brownie sundaes for dessert. We had a great time. I love my family

Then Monday (my actual birthday) Jason & I sat around and watched TrueBlood all day. It was AWESOME!! My sister got me the first season of TrueBlood and I'm addicted =] We had heard about it a while back and she was wanting to read the books and I have been dying to see the seasons (they are playing season 3 right now on TV). IT IS GOOD (it's an HBO show so it's pretty bad, but I like it like that =] Jason made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast & we ordered pizza for lunch/dinner. A day with no cooking, that's my kind of day!

I got many great gifts from my awesome family & friends. Thank you all

Our first concert together

Jason & I went to the local fair concert last week. We saw Joey & Rory and Blake Shelton. I just started listening to country in the last couple years so I was excited. Jason on the other hand was not as excited (I pretty much forced him to go =] and was dreading the entire thing. He informed me the night before the concert he was taking his own car in case he got tired and needed to leave (AKA He was planning on leaving early). So we headed out early enough to eat some yummy fair food. We both had an amazing sausage dog with grilled onions, we shared a thing of beer battered fries (AMAZING) and Jason topped the evening off with a Carmel apple. We (usually) only get fair food once a year so we take full advantage of it =] After eating we headed to our seats and waited for the concert to start. Joey & Rory were the opening act. They were a lot better then I thought they were going to be and I really enjoyed a lot of their songs. Blake Shelton was really good. He was super funny, and played lots of great songs. Jason stayed for the entire concert and as we were walking out he informed me that he was glad I made him go.

Last camping trip of the year

Our camping trip (about 2 weeks ago) was awesome! Jason & I headed down Friday afternoon and got our site set up. We then spent the rest of the afternoon swimming, reading, and drinking yummy strawberry drinks. My parents and the kids arrived that evening. We all had a great time and can't wait to go again next summer.
