We gave the babies each a bath this afternoon. Vinnie was horrible & Nala was OK. I'm glad its done.
Nala (I think she looks like a porcupine)

Things to be excited for

I'm really glad it's Friday. This week was extremely long. We don't really have any plans for this weekend, and I'm ok with that. Jason is doing much better. He was gimping around last night for about 10 mins with out his crutches. That is major improvement! He's still not able to go without them, but we're getting closer. The swelling in his knee has gone down, and he's able to move it more and more everyday. We were talking about his injury couple days ago and we both thought he would be a lot better by now. He really messed it up this time!

I talked to my Mom last night and they plan on coming down to visit Feb 6th. It's been since November since I last seen them, so I'm excited. My sister Josie is coming down to stay a week with me February 11th. I love it when she comes down and stays with me. I still can't believe she graduates high school this year. CRAZY!! She's talked about moving here and going to college but now sure what she's really gonna do. I would love to have her here, but only if that's where she wants to be. She's such a great kid, and we always have a blast together. All in all, she pretty much rocks!!

57 days till Vegas!! I'm freaking out, in a good way. I'm so excited and ready for this vacation!

It's suppose to be warmer this weekend, and boy do I hope that's true. I'm in dire need of some sunshine.  Have a great weekend ♥

WOW

That's how I feel because my lilest sister Em turns 5 years old tomorrow. We celebrated it today at the local YMCA. The kids swam in the pool for an hour then we did cupcakes & ice cream downstairs in the play room. It was fun. Kids had fun.

Blog birthday:1/09

I just realized January 9th was one year of blogging for me ♥

Happy blogging birthday to myself :]

Dead on

"I love you. It's not a weight you must carry around. I love you. It's not a box that holds you in. I love you. It's not a standard you have to bear. I love you. It's not a sacrifice I make. I love you. It's not a pedestal you are frozen upon. I love you. It's not an expectation of perfection. I love you. It's not my life's whole purpose (or your's). I love you. It's not to make you change. I love you. It's not even to make you love me. I love you. It's as pure and simple as that."

That's where the clumps of carpet are coming from

The other day I walked by the cat scratcher and realized it was in sad shape. We just got this scratcher about 6 months ago and I really didn't even think it was time for a new one till I saw this. I guess I will be making a trip to the pet store soon. Once I started taking pictures Vinnie would not leave the scratcher. The last picture is the first shot I got and it's the only one with out Vinnie, he's such a goof ball ♥

Boys & their toys

These pictures were taken 1/14/09, the day Jason hurt his knee. It was the first time he had taken his helicopter outside. He had so much fun flying it around the yard.

What a night

I'll post more later but I wanted to let you know Jason hurt himself last night while at hockey. He dis-located his knee, the one he's dis-located before. They loaded him up on drugs, popped his knee back in, and sent him home. He's got several appointments in the next week and has to stay off of it. At this point we are looking at physical therapy and hoping surgery is not in the near future.
