0il & vinegar

I absolutely love the 0il & vinegar store in Spokane.
I think I might have a lil problem =]
Vinegars: Fig, Elderflower apple lime, Passion fruit,
Pomegranate vanilla
Oils: Garlic, Blood orange, Pomegranate, Tuscan herb
I use them on everything.  Salad, veggies, fruit, beef, chicken, french toast, ice cream, ect.

Birthday goodies

Jason got me the kitchen aid ice cream maker attachment for my birthday.
So far I've made one batch, white chocolate and it was delish.
Jason already has a list of flavors for me to make.
This is my first ice cream maker and I really like it.

Fresh picked blueberries

Sunday morning I went and picked blueberries with my SIL & her grandparents. We arrived around 7:00-7:15, this is AM people, and there were already a ton of people picking. We parked, got our buckets, and waited to be assigned a row. We got the very last row (which had the biggest and best blueberries) and off we went. All 4 of us picked a bucket each.

thankful for the sunny day we had...

Saturday night we went over to Annie & James' house for dinner. I made dessert pizza, which was very yummy. I also made cake pops which was a bonus for everyone. Sunday morning we headed out to my parents house to pick up there furniture. They went to Portland for the weekend and picked up all new living room furniture at IKEA. Score for us!! We're really excited about having new-old furniture!
I'm super excited about this coming weekend. Balloon stampede, my sister visiting, & Mothers day.

Just the right kick

I made jalapeno poppers a couple weeks ago and they were killer.
Super easy, fast and good.
12 jalapeno's, cut in half, take out seeds
1 pkg cream cheese, softened
bacon (I had turkey bacon in the freezer)
Fill jalapeno's, wrap bacon around, bake in oven preheated @ 350 about 20-25 mins. Enjoy ♥

Our first for 2008

Jason & I ate sushi for dinner a couple of weeks ago. I loved the Locati roll, liked the Shawn roll alot and did not like the New York roll at all. I can't wait to go back and try some new rolls. This place has like 20 rolls and they have the best pot stickers ever. We got ours to go, hence the plastic.
Shawn Roll: crab, cucumber, crystal shrimp, avocado

New York Roll: smoked salmon, apple, cream cheese, avocado

Locati: seared tuna, cream cheese, tempura bits, pineapple

You've got some competition now FireHouse Red

Several of my friends and myself love, and I mean LOVE, this cranberry wine pictured below. Most wine people drink is made with grapes. This wine is made with cranberries. It's made in Milton-Freewater Oregon, which is about 14 miles from our home. It's made at KW Cellars. I never been to the winery, I get the wine through my mother in law (my sister in-law's mother). Her and her family see the man who makes this wine and he'll just leave some with her if I tell her I want some. I've been meaning to go out and check his place out and meet him, but I haven't yet. I introduced several friends to this wine and we all love it. I tell people be careful, you'll get yourself in trouble with this stuff. It's very sweet and has a great flavor. I though it was going to be tart because of the cranberries but it's not tart at all. We took a bottle to Seattle with us and enjoyed it on our trip.
This wine won a Silver label in a West Coast Wine Competition in 2006
