Last post from Spokane Street
Thursday the cable guy is scheduled to come between 1-3 to our new place. That means Wednesday night Jason and I will lug over our
livescomputer & XBOX360 to the new place. So I will be gone for a couple of days, I'm hoping for just one. We've moved a lot of stuff and I can really tell the difference, it's so empty here at our "old" place. We plan on sleeping there Wednesday night. It was 106 degrees here again today, and this heat just wears me out. I'll be glad when we're all moved and done. I can now say that I've moved in the worst part of winter: when Jason & I moved to WW it was Jan and a freakin blizzard outside. It took us almost 5 hours to get here, I driving the truck & him driving our 26" big daddy u haul, & the worst part of summer: as in we've been moving & cleaning in 104-106 degree weather for the last several days. I don't recommend either. I hope everyone is staying cool and drinking lots of water. Have a great week and I'll be posting from the "new" place next time :]

We're moving
We got the duplex!! What is she talking about, you may ask? Jason and I looked at a duplex over 2 weeks ago, applied for it and met with the landlord. I called several days afterword's to see if we got it, and they had not decided yet. I then called back about a week and a couple days later and they still had not decided. To be honest I have up. I thought who takes this long , and so I thought we didn't get it. I got the call today. We were approved, and they would like us to meet with them tomorrow after work to sign papers, give them money, and get a key. I'm freaking out. I've been looking for almost 6 months now for a place (our place now is just too small). Looks like the cloud above my head has finally parted and I can see and feel the sun shining on me. I feel good, and now I just want to move. Did I tell you I hate moving? I really do, but I'm hoping this will be our last move for a while. I'm so freaking excited!!

I ♥ scrapbooking
It's been an uneventful week, and that's ok with me. I've been working on my scrapbook the last couple of nights after dinner, and it's really coming along. When I first started my scrapbook it was about 100 pictures and as the years
flygo by I notice my picture basket has tripled in size (and that's with me doing 3 scrapbooks already). I'm learning that I as long as I'm taking pictures and living life then my scrapbook will never be finished. See honey, I really do need all those stickers and pretty colored paper! I've collected stickers ever since I can remember, and to this day I still love them (I will say they are not as cool as they use to be).
I ordered my sister in-laws baby shower gift today, and it should be here next Wednesday. June 28th is the shower, so I better get my butt in gear and get my games all together and get some prizes. This Saturday Jason and I will be shampooing our carpets, I know exciting!

Lovin the yard sales
Yesterday marked my first outing of yard sales for this year. The weather has not been the best "yard sale" weather. I'm on a lookout for a computer desk, a file cabinet, end table's, a computer chair, picture frames, vases, and other misc
junktreasure's. We went with our friends the "N" family. We hit up about 5 or 6 and I think we all walked away with something. Jason and I got ourselves a new living room chair. The chair is in great condition, and the pillow is also in great condition. We're going to take it to the laundry matt on Tuesday to wash, but other than needing a good clean the chair is wonderful. My cat thinks we got this chair just for him, I've had to kick him out many times and every time you get up he'll steal it again.

In need of a new phone
I'm in need of a new cell phone really bad. Mine will hang up on random people, unfortunately never when I wish it would, and I'll have to power it back on. The front screen has been coming off for some time now and I've just been dealing with it. Jason and I both still have T-mobile which is not local and have been wanting to switch over to a local carrier. We've been waiting for one of our phones to take a crap, and it looks like new phones are in our near future. This is the phone I have now and I've had for over 3 years now. I'm really not sure what new phones are out. I'm getting excited though to get a new phone.

You've got some competition now FireHouse Red
Several of my friends and myself love, and I mean LOVE, this cranberry wine pictured below. Most wine people drink is made with grapes. This wine is made with cranberries. It's made in Milton-Freewater Oregon, which is about 14 miles from our home. It's made at KW Cellars. I never been to the winery, I get the wine through my mother in law (my sister in-law's mother). Her and her family see the man who makes this wine and he'll just leave some with her if I tell her I want some. I've been meaning to go out and check his place out and meet him, but I haven't yet. I introduced several friends to this wine and we all love it. I tell people be careful, you'll get yourself in trouble with this stuff. It's very sweet and has a great flavor. I though it was going to be tart because of the cranberries but it's not tart at all. We took a bottle to Seattle with us and enjoyed it on our trip.

Update: Seattle trip
We're home and everything's great. Jason and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary on Monday May 26. It seems so crazy to me that we've been married a year now. It still feels like last month. November 22 Jason and I will have been together 5 years and that blows my mind!! Everyday I'm reminded how short life is and everyday I'm more appreciative of what and who I have in my life.
Here's the picture I took outside of the space needle. We ate a late lunch early dinner at the Space Needle on Friday. It was amazing. We sat at a table right next to the window and got to watch as we moved around in a circle. It takes an hour to make a full circle. Our food was amazing. We want to do it again next time we're in Seattle.
