Time with my sister Joe
My sister is here. She is staying with us for the next week, while she is on spring break. I'm thrilled to have her. We always have a blast. My Mom and the family came down Friday after Gary got of work. We all met up at my brothers house Saturday for dinner. Everything went great. So far Joe (my sister) has been gaming with Jason all weekend, which he loves to have a gaming buddy. She brought down her WII, which we've been wanting to get, and they have both been on it non stop. We've got dinner plans with the N family tomorrow so that will be fun, and we've also got plans to go bowling this weekend.

In dire need of Spring
I want to start out with WELCOME SPRING, I've missed you so much. We've got sun shining here, it's not warm out there, but hey I'm not complaining.
My soon to be 17 year old sister is coming to stay with the husband and I for her spring break. She will be here Friday March 28. I think our mom is going to let her skip school on Friday so she can head down here early. My sister Joe (that's what I call her) came down last October and stayed a weekend with us. We didn't do much, but had a blast. When I moved to Spokane Joe was 13, and we knew each other but didn't really know one another. We have such a great relationship now, I love it. We have those sister talks (which I love), we share many of the same interests, & we can be doing nothing but still have fun. I just want Joe to love life as much as I do, and live it to the fullest. When I talk to her whether it's on the phone or in person, I'm always reminded of myself at her age. It's scary how much we are alike. She knows my horror stories of not making good choices in life, so I'm always hoping she remembers them and makes better choices for her own life. I'm so excited for our relationship to grow even more as we get older. I love you my dear sister Joe. Above picture is October 2006 at Fred Meyers trying on funny hats.

Irish Wedding Blessing
This was read during my wedding ceremony. I loved it as soon as I read it. I thought today being St. Patty's Day was the perfect day to share with you
*Irish Wedding Blessing*
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon fields. May the light of friendship guide your paths together. May the laughter of children grace the halls of your home. May the joy of living for one another bring a smile to your lips, a twinkle to your eye. And when eternity beckons at the end of a life heaped high with love, may the lord embrace you with the arms that have nurtured you the whole length of your joy-filled days. May god hold you both in the palm of his hands. And today, may the spirit of the love find a dwelling place in your hearts.

The new cat house
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JLG, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
Last Saturday we went over to the Tri-Cities for the day. It was a zoo over there. Traffic was horrible. We first went to Costco, whcih was PACKED. We got this awesome cat bed for $22.00, I LOVE it. The great think about it, is that it looks like it's basket material but it's really plastic. I wasn't sure if the cats were going to dig it.....but they LOVE it. We've had cat houses before and Nala never liked them, but they both love this one. We went several other places, didn't get anything too exciting. I just wanted to share the new cat house ♥

My niece
As you know from the last post our family found out last week that my brother and his wife are having a baby girl in July. My sister in-law is due mid July. Most everyone in our family, just knew it was going to be a boy. Surprise, surprise! I even told my husband that everyone was going to jinx them. I had a feeling that it was going to be a girl, but what do you say to everyone when they just know it's a boy! I'm so excited to be an aunt. My brother and his wife have picked out a name, but they are not telling anyone what it is until the baby is born. My sister in-law is really showing now and it's so cute. With this baby being our first grandbaby of the family and being a girl, I'm sure she's NOT going to be spoiled one bit.

You have what tomorrow!?!?!
Jason had surgery today for his nose and ears. Oh your surprised.....well I was too. He had told me several months ago that he needed this done, we talked about it and I told him to set the appointment and let me know. He said ok, and that was it. About a month ago I reminded him about it and he didn't remember the date. I told him to call and that was the end. He calls me at work yesterday around 3:00 and tells me that the hospital just called to remind him of his scheduled surgery tomorrow, as in today. I'm like awesome. I tell him to call his work, get the time off. I talk to my boss, get the time off. We left for the hospital at 8:00 this morning and we didn't get home till after 1:00. Everything went good. He's resting right now. The doctors are saying they want him off of work for a week.
