Beef Torelinni Soup: One of our favorite's

Beef Tortellini Soup

8 oz. beef round steak, cut 1 inch thick, boneless
1 tbs all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1-2 tbs butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
18-oz beef broth
1 14-oz jar garlic pasta sauce (white sauce)
1 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup water
1 medium zucchini, cut into thin bite-size strips
1 9-oz package refrigerated cheese-filled tortellini
1/2 tsp favorite seasoning
Cut beef into thin strips. In a plastic bag combine flour, salt, and pepper. Add beef pieced, a few at a time, shaking to coat. In large skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add beef and onions, cook and stir unitl beef is brown and onion tender. Drain off fat. Put beef and onions into crockpot. Stir in broth, pasta sauce, carrots, water, and seasoning. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 7 to 8 hours or on high-heat setting for 3.5 to 4 hours. If using low-heat setting, turn cooker to high-heat setting. Stir in zuccini and tortellini. Cover and cook for 30 min more. Check tortellini's to ensure cooked, cook longer if needed.
