Vegas was killer
We're home, and we survived Vegas. OMG did we have a time of our lives! Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday was non-stop. We literally walked all day, but it was sooooo worth it. I'm very very thankful my Wmom was with us. There would of been no way Jason & I could of done so much on our own. We stayed at the Rio, which was really nice and pretty cool, but we will defiantly stay somewhere else next time (yes, we are already planning on going back). Our flight was delayed 2 hours Sunday night, when we finally arrived in Vegas it was late. We ate some dinner, walked around the Rio a bit, then headed to our rooms. Monday we took the shuttle, our hotel had a shuttle to the Harrahs, Paris, & Bally's, which saved us lots on taxi's. When your walking down the strip you see different hotels, and it looks right there, but it's really like 2 miles away. You just keep walking and walking. And of course you have to stop at all the stores in between the hotels, and look at all the different stuff. We walked up the strip and into all the different hotels. We all got Fat Tuesday daiquiris at MGM Grand. Dad, Jason, & I all got the 28 oz and my Wmom got the 20 oz. OMG, these things are wonderful. Dad, Jason, & I all got the extra shot! We all were feeling great after FT!! It was crazy & I loved every second of it! Monday night was our bus tour, which took us all around to different places and different attractions at each hotel/casino. I thought the bus tour was very beneficial to us, we saw a lot of things in about 4/5 hours. Included in the bus tour was the wax museum (AWESOME), the Grand Canal (with boat ride & singer) at the Venetian (very cool), the water show outside the Bellagio (one of my top favs), & a trip to Fremont Street (old Vegas strip, another one of my top favs). We all enjoyed the tour a lot, my parents had done the tour before but we're happy to do it again with us. We ate dinner at Burger Palace, not so great, then headed back to the hotel. Tuesday we got onto one of the shuttles and headed the opposite as the day before. We walked up the strip and into all the different hotels again. We ate lunch at the Treasure Island buffet. It was delicious. I would most defiantly eat there again. We hit up Fat Tuesdays again, same size drink all different flavors this time, and yep us 3 got the extra shot again. That daiquiri helped me out so much, by this time my feet and shins and legs were killing me from walking so much. Once I drank my FT's a was feelin fine and that's what kept me going for another 10 hours. Tuesday night was Penn & Teller. OMG they were awesome. They were my all time fave. After the show we got autographs and pictures with them. It was awesome. After the show we went to Outback and ate dinner. After dinner we headed back to the hotel. Wednesday we headed back up the strip to some shops and hotels/casinos we didn't visit the days before. We ate lunch at the Planet Hollywood buffet. It was very good. We liked the TI one better though. Again we hit up Fat Tuesday's and got our drinks. Oh how being on vacation is so awesome :] Wednesday night was the Cirque Du Soleil "O" show. This was amazing. Words can not even describe it. I really want to go and see another Cirque Du Soleil shoe. I want to see them all. We were not allowed to take pictures during the show. I'm really glad we saw it. After "O" we took a taxi back to Fremont. We all really liked Fremont and wanted to spend some more time there (on the bus tour we were only on Fremont for an hour). We ate dinner at one of the diners in a hotel. The food was wonderful. After that was watched the light/music show on the canopy that covers the road. This is freaking amazing! Every hour from 6:00 pm - 12:00 am they play a song and video on the canopy. I loved loved loved it (my other all time fav). This is another must see. We gambled and shopped on Fremont. After a few hours we headed back to our hotel. Thursday we had to check out by 11:00 am. The boys gambled while Wmom and I walked around the Rio and did some shopping. We then headed to the airport. It was so crazy, our taxi lady was talking to us and we were all talking about vacations and such. My dad asked her where she went on vacations and she said she goes to visit family in Walla Walla!! We all were like WHAT?! Such a small world. We then waited at the airport till our plane arrived, on time, and flew to Pasco. We then went to dinner, some amazing BBQ place, then we headed home. Even though vacations are amazing it's so nice to come home. Jason & I were excited to see the babies. Jason loved the airplane ride (this was his first time) and had a blast. He keeps saying how this was the best vacation of his life, and I'm really glad I got to experience it with him. We plan on going again, not for awhile, but again. The weather was great. It was windy one day but the others were great. I got a little sun burnt even :] I don't know how many miles we walked but it was a lot. Oh and everyone keeps asking how much money we lost/won, and we both stayed within our budget but did not come home with a plus. My Wmom was the only one to win money. Since this post is so long, I'll start posting pictures tomorrow.
