Team Edward J0hnny

My dad had a bunch of family in town last weekend so we all headed down to the rink and watched their game. My dad & Justin both scored goals and their team won. We had about 15-18 people (kids included =) and for some it was their first game. I'm glad so many came out, it means a lot to all of us
If you didn't know my dad is obsessed with hockey.....and now my oldest brother is becoming more & more addicted I made signs =]
I knew immediately that I wanted a team J0hnny sign

Down again

Jason dis-located his knee again this last Monday at stick night (hockey). His knee cap was on the side of his knee and wedged sideways, this time was the worse. They gave him some drugs that work really fast (can't remember the name) and tried to get it back in place but the medicine wore off before the DR was able to and it was hurting Jason A LOT. So, they called the orthopedic in and sedated Jason. Once he was out the 2 DR's popped that baby back in. He's doing ok. He's gonna have to have surgery and really build his knee back up but he's gonna be fine. I think he's mose upset about not playing hockey anymore...

Lil bit of this & that

*We had lots of fun while Josie was down. Saturday morning we woke up early and went and watched the balloons take off (I'm still working on those pictures). Later that afternoon we went and looked at all the booths and all the old cars. Of course we ate lunch, which was awesome. I love fair food! Saturday night we had dinner with my brothers family. Sunday afternoon Josie headed back home.
*OMG, my sister Josie turns 18 tomorrow!!
*My SIL & I went and watched my brother and dad play hockey last night. My brother started about 3 weeks ago and loves it.
*Tomorrow I'm going out to my dads house so my Wmom and I can start a table runner. I went and picked out my fabric on Sunday and I'm so excited to get started on it!

What a night

I'll post more later but I wanted to let you know Jason hurt himself last night while at hockey. He dis-located his knee, the one he's dis-located before. They loaded him up on drugs, popped his knee back in, and sent him home. He's got several appointments in the next week and has to stay off of it. At this point we are looking at physical therapy and hoping surgery is not in the near future.

This season we rock

Rink Rats VS. The Tigers

11-3

We won. I'm feeling bad for the Tigers, they have not won a single game so far. I'm really hoping they win at least one game this season. My dad missed the game (he's in California). Jason scored a goal. This is his 2nd or 3rd goal of the season. GO BABE!! No hockey for the next two weeks, cuz of Christmas and New Years.

Rink Rats VS. The Icemen

The Knights are the team to beat this season

Rink Rats VS The Knights

13-12

We lost :[

Good news though is Jason scored a goal! Whoo-hoo, great job hun. It was tied at the end and we did a shoot out and out of our 3 peeps who did the shoot out, Jason was the only one to score. The other team came back and scored 2 shots during the shoot out and won the game.

Our little secret

Rink Rats VS Tigers

15-5

We won. I was not at the game tonight because I went out to my dads house and watched the kids so my Wmom could go and watch the game. She's never been able to atend the games because she's got the kids. We didn't tell my dad what was going on. When he got home from the game he was so excited for mom to have been there. It was priceless ♥

I've got pictures from last night that are so awesome and I can't wait to share but right now I gotta get my butt in gear and get some cooking done.

The game was intense and I spent most of it on my feet. We kept our heads in the game and pulled through another win. Way to go Rink Rats!!
My dad had the late game and I did not stay for it so not sure how he's doing.

Not our night

Rink Rats VS Knights

We lost 11-6

It was a good game though, we played hard and went after the puck every chance we got. Jason had many great shots and blocks, but unfortunatly no goals tonight. I'm so proud of him even if he does not make any goals (I know he will though, he's so determined). He's gotten so much better just from last season, and I'm so proud he's out there again this season.

My dad's team (Tigers) lost their game also. It just was not our night.

Next week we (the Rink Rats) play my dads (the Tigers) team. I'm sure I'll look crazy yelling for both teams :]

Victory

Rink Rats VS Tigars

Rinks Rats won 9 to 4

Way to start the season guys (no girls on our team this season)

Looks like the Rink Rats will be Jason's team this season. He's excited, there's some really great players on the Rink Rats.

First game of the season

Getting ready to head out to the hockey game. Jason got called by the hockey organizer guy (if I ever have to refer to him again, he will be HOG) and was asked to play the late game on a different team. Not sure if it's because that team is short handed or if that's going to be his new team. I'm sure we'll find out though. I hope we win ♥

Hockey: Year 2

Jason starts hockey this week. His first game is on Wednesday. My dad & him are on different teams this year. Their excited to play against each other. Must be a man thing! I'm getting excited to get back into watching the games. I'm sure that will only last a couple weeks though :]
Jason is on the Ice Men again, and my dad is on the Tigers. Should be a fun season.

Under the weather

The last couple of days have been spent in my bedroom with several boxes of Kleenex and many decongestion pills. I went to the DR after my sinus problems had not gone away after two weeks. He gave me a prescription and off I went to get my drugs. The drugs have loosened all that pressure but now I have the drainage. My husband was telling me a lot of people at his work are sick and I know several people as well, so I know it's going around.

I'm getting so excited for Halloween. I love trick-or-treaters, and seeing all the costumes. I'm also excited to carve pumpkins.

Jason starts hockey here in a couple weeks. He went to stick night last week and will continue going every Monday. He's really excited for hockey. I wonder if him and my dad will be on the same team? If not it's ok, I like them being on the same team cuz then I can watch both. They kinda want to play against each other, I'm sure it seems more fun that way ♥

Hockey season over

Jason had his final game this last Wednesday for hockey. This game was to determine 3rd & 4th place for the two teams. Unfortantley we lost, so that put us in 4th place for this season. It was a really good game, and the team they played was a really good team. At first I was thinking that I would be glad there are no more games, but now that I won't be going to anymore untill November I'm kinda sad. I had a lot of fun watching the hockey games. Jason still has stick night on Mondays' & Wednesday's. I'm sure I'll get over going to games every Wednesday. I am so proud of Jason for playing hockey. I would of never have thought he would be so passionate about it. It makes me proud to watch him play. He has improved so much since he first started. My dad also. They don't realize how much better they both have gotten. Jason is all ready talking about next season, and that makes me really happy that he's going to keep playing. Here's to winning the championship next year.

No championship this year

I'm so glad it's Thursday. Only one more day to go! Jason played in his hockey game last night. There team did so good, but unfortanatly we did not win. They played against the number one team for the season, and we only lost by one point. GO ICE MEN!! We only have two more games left of this season. They will continue stick nights on Monday until April or May. I was really hoping we were going to win last night but there's always next year for the championship.

We have dinner plans on Saturday, and I'm so excited. We are going for Chinese food and then back to the house for games. This couple we have been hanging out with are so great, I'm glad we all have become friends. Crystal & Roger, you guys ROCK!

All our snow here is GONE that's right GONE! I couldn't be happier. The wind is zipping through here, but nothing like the wind storm last month. That was some crazy times. Jason was telling me that he heard that the wind storm last month cost Walla Walla and surounding area's over 2.5 million dollars. Now that's some damage! Picture on the right is a car across the street from our place, this damage was done during our big wind storm here last month.

I'm trying a new recipe for dinner tonight. It's a cheese enchilada soup in the crock pot. I have a hair appointment to get a trim today at 5:30, so I decied it was a good crock pot night. It looks good, and smells so good. I'll let you know how it turns out tommorow.

P-I-M-P Jacket

I got the cutest jacket for Joshua the other day. I just love it! I was looking through the baby clothes on a rack and I look over at a shelf and see this aqua colored something sticking out. I walk over to this mound of clothes someone had stuffed on to a shelf and pull this aqua thing out. Once I pulled it out, I loved it. It's a very pretty color, and it's so P-I-M-P to me. It's got a little crown on it, and it's got some fake silk on the inside of the hood! I wish it was in my size, I would totally wear it.

Jason twisted his ankle and messed his knee up last night coaching the kids hockey team. He's really bummed because he's not going to be able to play tonight. This will be his first game he's missed. Make that his first anything hockey he's missed. I told him though if he doesn't let it heal he's going to miss more than one game. He's knows he can't play tonight, but I know that he wants to think that it's going to be ok. We are still going to go to the game, he'll just be on the other side of the rink.

My sister came over last night while the boys played hockey. We ate McDonald's and watched Dora for an hour. She's always pretty good for me when she comes over. She kept telling me that she forgot her jammies and that she needed to call dad and have him bring them over. I kept telling her that I had to work the next day so she could not stay the night. I told her she could stay the night in 3 days. She said ok. When my dad came to get her after hockey she didn't want to go. It was sad, because she really thought she was staying the night. I'm sure she's over it now, but maybe it's just to much for her to come over during the week. Well see how she does next time.

Birthdays & stick night

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR SHANNAN HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.

Jason had stick night last night. As Jason was leaving I looked over at him and saw that he had a stow away. Silly boy! Stick night is open rink for all hockey players. Sometimes I think Jason has more fun on stick night then on game night. I'm glad for stick night. It gets him out of the house, and gives me some time to watch my shows. Jason informed me last night that stick night will continue after hockey ends. I'm sure he thinks this is a miracle! Hockey ends at the end of February, and stick night will continue until May. The rink closes down in May for the summer and opens back up in October or November. I'm sure during that time Jason will get back into golf. If you would of asked me 6 months ago what Jason's favorite sport was I would of told you golf hands down. Now though, I would say hockey. Which is surprising to me because he loves golf with a passion. I don't mind him golfing all the time, but it can be real spendy. Hockey isn't as bad, once we bought all the gear. What ever he does, I'll love him unconditionally and I'm always proud of him. Have a terrific Tuesday.
