Catching up...

*We had a great Christmas.  Santa was very good to us this year.
*Happy New Year

*My sister Josie came down for New Year's weekend.  We had our friends Annie and James over for drinks/games.  Of what I remember it was a great night =]  

*Unfortunately I got sick the next day with the worst cold I've ever had and 2 ear infections.  I was literally in bed for 5 days.  I've been on antibiotics for a week now and I'd say I'm about 90% better.  

*Jason started school on Monday (1/3/11) for his CDL and is loving it.  He's most excited to start learning to drive (3-4 weeks). He's been acing all his tests and doing extremely well.  I'm so proud of him ♥  He'll be done in March and hopefully be able to get a job soon after.
*Jason and I went over to Tri-Cities and watched my brothers play hockey.  I didn't realize how good they are getting.  It was fun to watch them play on "big ice".
*I've set a date for the Dex.ter party and have been working on it a lot lately. I'm very excited.
*I LOVE Net.flix and don't know how I lived without it for so long.
*I've been thinking about this years ball00n stampede and I'm pretty excited for it.
*My sister Emily's big dance performance is this Saturday.

Life is good

* We (Jason, myself, Justin, Annie, and Gianna) went up to Sp0kane for a Y0GabbaGabbaLive concert.  My niece Gianna is a huge fan and had a blast at the concert.  My SMom was very excited to see Gianna, and Gianna was excited to see them all.  Jason and I visited our friend Cameron and we also went and visited my friend Karissa and her baby. We were also able to visit with Jason's parents and brother.  I got to spend time with my sister Josie and do some shopping.  It was a jammed packed weekend and I didn't get to do everything I wanted (like always) but still a great weekend.

* We just found out that Jason got approved for a displaced workers grant program and will be starting school January 3rd, 2011 for his CDL license.  YAY!!!  It's official, my husband will be going to school to be a truck driver.  I'm not gonna lie, I'm terrified yet ecstatic at the same time.

* I'm really really really excited for Thanks.giving.  I'm having our turkey smoked this year, oh how I love smoked turkey.  Here's our menu for the big day.

* Most of my family are not exchanging gifts this year for Christmas so even though I'm not behind I keep feeling like I am.  I'm super excited for Christmas and gotta admit that I've already listened to a couple Christmas songs =]  I LOVE Christmas music!

My parents & the kids left on Wednesday to go to the Olympics. They are watching the men's USA hockey team (of course =).....I'm super jealous

I have been working crazy on the New M00n party. Things are going good & I'm getting more and more excited (I know I have not mentioned this yet on here but I will)

Jason's work gives out a really good gift after you've been there 3 years, I wasn't counting on it since ya know they are closing down in April, but he came home last week with his 3 year gift card. We went back & forth on what to spend it on and finally decided to get a new bedroom TV (with the help of some savings money). We are now the new owners of a 42" LCD HDTV

I can't believe March is only a week and a few days away. I'm soooo not ready for it

* Jason's knee surgery is scheduled for November 11th

* I've been working on my Christmas shopping

* Unfortunately times are tough so it's making my Christmas shopping a nightmare but I'm determined to not let it effect me. I'm thinking I need to get more creative

* We have decided to spend Thanksgiving this year in Sp0kane....

* Black Friday will be CRAZY this year (I'll be shopping in Sp0kane)

* The Saturday after Thanksgiving we (Jason, myself, my dad & his family) are attending the Br0adway show of The Li0n King

(did anyone catch it on Dancing With The Stars??). I've been wanting to see this and I can't believe we are going.

and OMG I love love love them

* I ordered some more books from her (different series).

* I love fall, it's my favorite season

* Friday is my little bro Devin's 12th birthday

* Saturday is Devin's birthday party in Yakima

* Some drama went on at the place where Josie got hired and now they've decided not to hire her at this time. She was devastated, thought about staying in Spokane, got mad at mom, and now wants to move again......life of an 18 year old

* Today is Vinnie's 2nd birthday ♥

* Annie & I have a baking date set up for Saturday August 22, I'm sooo excited

* We're making Cookies and Cream Cheesecakes, I love this food blog

* Our hot weather is suppose to break tomorrow. I really hope the weatherperson is right

*My Wmom & I are planning a white water rafting trip next July. It would be a 3 day trip including camping. I know it's a year away but I'm really excited about it

*Life has been so busy (which I really do love) that I have not had a chance to make a baking date with Annie in forever. I'm thinking we NEED a baking date & soon

*I haven't worked on any crafts in FOREVER and that's because I've been reading A LOT. You see my sister Josie kept talking about how awesome these books were and how much she loved them. I was talking to her a couple weeks before we went camping last and she told me she was reading the books again. I told her if she loved them that much then I had to at least read the 1st one. I read the 1st one in 1 day and was hooked. I just finished the last one last night. These aren't my normal kind of books but I'm really glad I gave them a try......oh your wondering what books they were, right? Well, it was the Twilight series (I know, I know, I didn't want to get sucked into the hype either) but I honestly have to say, I really enjoyed the books.

*While in the middle of the first book, I was talking to Josie about it and she was telling me how much she loved Edward (now I knew Twilight was HUGE but I didn't really realize how HUGE it was till after I started reading the books and noticed all the Twilight shit). People are going CRAZY over this stuff. She was telling me how she's seen people that were dressed up like the characters. I told her, "I was pale before it was cool".

* Found out yesterday my sister Josie is gonna go camping with us in July. This will be her first camping trip since she was 4. I'm even more excited now.

Today is a better day

* I'm feeling better today. I've had my moments, but so far it's been ok.

* Looking forward to our yard sale this weekend. The stuff laying around my living room is driving me crazy, & it will be good to get my mind off things for a few hours.

* Jason has been sooo good about not having his xbox. Don't get me wrong, I hear about it every day 10 times a day but it could be worse. He's promised not to track it till next week.

* I gotta get my butt in gear and make some graduation pops and cake pops for graduation in 8 days!!

* I wanna go camping soooo bad but all our weekends are busy for like the next 5 weeks. Our first available weekend we're going camping!!

* I'm excited about going to Spokane, but worried about Vinnie being lonely.

* I'm going out to my parents house tonight to sew with my Wmom. We're starting a new table runner. I love love love my fabric, it's so cute.

* My sister Josie called me last night and told me that.......she's gonna move to WW after graduation!! OMG, I'm freaking out with excitement! I can't wait till she's here. She's thinking in August or September she'll be ready to move. She wants to register at the CC for winter quarter. She's gonna live about 35 miles away with her grandparents till she gets a place of her own. It's gonna be awesome!!

* We had a combined birthday dinner for everyone on Saturday and everything went pretty good.

* Trey, one of my little brothers, came home with us Saturday night and stayed over. He was good. Him & Jason played lots of Xbox.

* Elidah & Ninja came over yesterday. We lounged around & watched some shows. It was great.

* Jason was informed on Friday that glass will be shut down at the end of this month. Him & the other glass employee will be moved to home.

* Jason went to the DR on Friday for some moles and everything checked out A-O-K.

* My niece Gianna is a crawling fool. There's no stopping her now!

* I hate daylight savings time!!

* I have been scaning all my old pictures onto my computer for weeks now. I think I'm finally half done!! It's been so awesome looking through all those pictures & memories. I'm warning you all now, major picture overdrive coming soon :]

* Only 20 days till Vegas!!!

Randomness

* Jason got the new Guitar Hero last weekend. He was pretty much on tour all weekend

* I was just informed Jason still LOVES his Call Of Duty, in case you or I was worried :]

* I'm still addicted to my game. The snow is melting and my trees are becoming greener & greener everyday.

* My SIL invited us over for mini burgers tonight and I'm soooo excited

* Some friends of ours are coming over on Saturday for dinner, drinks, & games

* 37 days till Vegas

* We booked our shows for Vegas last weekend: Penn & Teller, "O" Cirque du Soleil, & a bus tour

* Jason is off crutches but still using the knee brace. He can bend his knee about 60% now. We've been looking at a hockey brace for next year (yikes!!!) and plan on getting one ordered before next season.

* DR told Jason on last visit that if he ever dis-located his knee again he would have to have the surgery done no-matter-what

* I've got 1 present so far for March birthday's and I'm stressing it. I can't find anything I want to get for anyone and I'm running out of time

* I rented Fireproof last night and we plan on watching it on Friday. I'm super excited

* I have a much needed hair appointment today (a trim, remember I'm growing it out)

* Friday 2/27 one of my besties (Cameron) from Spokane is coming down and staying the weekend with us. This is not his first trip to WW but it is his first time staying over.
